I Wondered

I thought of you today
I wondered how you were

I wondered if you smiled
If you laughed out loud

I wondered if you were warm
And happy inside

It dawned on me that
You may be a little lonely

So I came to sit with you
Even if only for awhile

To converse with you
Of the day’s events and of the weather

I wonder-
Is this okay with you?

Kali's Heart

Come with me and you will see
A world full of imagination!
Fantasies or simple curiosity fulfilled


With a flick of my wrist there will appear
Whirling teacups, carousels and leaping fairies
Spilling forth from within my heart


A rollercoaster of emotions
Laughter, tears, fears and love
Take my hand and we will fly!


There will be music surrounding us
Allowing the notes to drift through our souls
We will twirl and dip in the light fantastic!


Our eyes will take images
Filling our minds with photographs
Longings made for the heart


With a quick naughty wink
Subtly we will find ourselves
Immersed in wanton lust


Then with a blink of surprise
We will be transported
Back to childhood innocent pleasures


Or possibly with some luck
Involvement in an epic story
Where knights, romance and chivalry live


A place of fairies and pixie dust
Wizards and witches both good and evil
The magic of runes and bones


Better still to places set
In the time of today
Full of mystery and intrigue


Parchment of old will we use
With loving harmony we will pen
A library filled with wonderment!


So come with me
Where you will travel
A world full of imagination
